The homes that were seized from their Ukrainian owners and used by Russian soldiers were strewn with alcohol bottles and other mess, including a half-cooked meal of fried patties.

President Zelenskyy announced on September 30 that the village of Yampil was liberated.

Sky News shared footage of the village's streets and inside some houses with a correspondent saying "Look at the state of this house."

It was the same in all of the homes they visited.

There were rooms covered in garbage, abandoned uniforms, and hanging laundry.

The Russian army kicked people out of their homes and then took over. This is the way they lived. They didn't leave anything behind.

Evidence of Russia's hurried and disorganized retreat is provided in the report. Reports emerged that Russian troops dropped their guns and fled after the Ukrainians regained hundreds of square miles of territory.

Izyum was taken back on September 10. In a video purporting to show an abandoned Russian base there and shared by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, the camera scans a scene with trash, personal items and uniforms all over the floor.

Neatness is not the best virtue of the Russian military according to the MOD. Insider couldn't confirm the authenticity of the video.

According to a recent report in The Wall Street Journal, the Russian soldiers who fled from Kharkiv left behind a lot of equipment that is helping the Ukrainians.

Sky reported that there appeared to be a similar situation in Yampil.

Crawford reported that they left behind a huge amount of weapons and equipment. This was not a retreat at all, it was running to get out of the way.
