A man is fishing with his family at a pond.
Holly Haddan said that her new property had a fishing pond. On the evening of Monday, October 3, I went with my family to go fishing.
I had no idea about the pond. Haddan said they were just fishing to see what was inside.
She said she didn't pay attention. My brother just returned from the Marines and he said, "Hey sis, your bob's gone." Haddan started to reel in her catch.
She thought she had caught a perch when she saw the yellow colored fish. She realized it had a mouth and fins that weren't good.
The Missouri Department ofConservation said in a post that she had caught a golden crappie. Black and white crappies are the most popular species. The fish has a genetic condition that causes it to have a higher amount of yellow color.
Haddan was surprised to get this one in. It's very bright. The picture doesn't do it right. When the sun hits it, it shines like gold.
I've seen them on the internet. She said she had never caught one herself or seen one with her own eyes.
The crappie was 13 inches long. Haddan said that he is Dinner plate-sized.
She said that she wasn't aiming for it but that she chose her worm.
She wants to return the fish to the fishing pond soon. Haddan doesn't see the need to kill something when there's no need for it.
Therarest of the crappies are golden crappies. If you catch this breed, consider yourself one of the lucky ones.
It is about 170 miles from Kansas City.
Is this something? The ice fisherman caught a golden fish.
A family was found in a garage.
It was just caught in a park.
