The Semi truck will be delivered by December 1st according to a message from CEO Musk. In December of last year, the soft drink company ordered 100 of the electric transport vehicles.
When fully loaded, the Semi can go from zero to 60mph in 20 seconds. In 30 minutes, you will be able to replenish up to 70% of its range. According to Musk, it is very enjoyable to drive.
In the past, news about the semi was fairly sparse. In August, Musk said that the version of the truck with a 500-mile range would be available this year. In August, reservations were not open.
The company isn't known for hitting deadlines, despite Musk's recent shipping promise. Musk says that the Cybertruck and the second-generation Roadster will be delayed a few times.
The full self driving technology, which Musk promised was just around the corner for years, is currently in the early stages of development. The Semi will feature at least semi-autonomous driving, though there is no information about it on the truck's website.
