Biden said Putin is 'not joking' about nuclear threats: 'We have not faced the prospect of Armageddon since Kennedy and the Cuban missile crisis'

The prospect of Russian President Putin using nuclear weapons in the war with Ukraine is a threat that the President is taking very seriously.

Biden said that Putin is not joking when he talks about potential use of tactical nuclear weapons or biological or chemical weapons.

The president said that he didn't think there was a way to use tactical nuclear weapons and not have it result in Armageddon.

The war was intensified on September 21 when Putin announced partial military deployment.

"The territorial integrity of our motherland, our independence, and freedom will be secured, I repeat with all the means we have," Putin said. The prevailing winds can turn in the direction of those who try to blackmail us.
