The launch of the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro, which will compete with the iPhone 14 lineup, was one of the highlights of today's announcement. MacRumors videographer Dan Barbera was able to get hands-on time with the new devices to give us a look at how they measure up to Apple's newest products.

The Pixel 7 has a bright 6.3-inch display, a hole-punch camera cutout, and a matt aluminum enclosure. There is a dual-rear camera system with a "cinematic blur" feature and wide and ultra wide lens on the device.

The larger device with the same size as the 14 Plus and Pro Max, a Tensor G2 chip, and a triple-lens camera system is priced at $899. The camera features include macro focus, 30x Super Res zoom, and Cinematic Blur.

The sleep tracking feature has been added, as well as fast wireless charging, fingerprints, and a cough and snoring detection feature, which will be added soon.

The Pixel watch is a direct competitor to the Apple watch. The Apple Watch has a rectangular display design, but the Pixel Watch has a round display, which makes it different. Heart rate tracking, electrocardiograms, sleep tracking, fall detection, and more are included in the features of the Pixel watch.

We're going to do a more in-depth comparison between the two phones, as well as offer a side-by-side look at the two watches, with those videos coming out next week. What do you think of the new products from the internet giant? We would appreciate it if you would tell us in the comments.
