Few things in video games have been so eagerly anticipated. The first look at the new Mario movie was released by Nintendo today.
As the trailer for the Mario movie was about to be revealed, the internet went crazy. When Nintendo posted the link to the livestream, thousands of viewers went to the YouTube page to wait as if they were going to buy a new Nintendo console. We got a glimpse of the poster for the movie, which features a shot of Mario from behind, leading people to comment on his lack of a backside. I was too busy screaming about CAPTAIN TOAD to give an opinion.
The trailer reveal was expected to be a great sea change in internet history.
He said that life wouldn't be the same after he heard the voice of Mario.
The internet let out a collective "What the fuck" when it was announced that ChrisPratt would be the voice of Mario. Charles Martinet, who has voiced Mario in the games for decades, was left out in the cold. It was thought that he wouldn't fit the role due to his lack of Italian heritage and the fact that he is the most annoying character in the movie. He only gave us a couple of lines, and they were all terrible because he was using his normal voice. Charles Martinet was put out of work for this. How come, God, why? Jack Black delivered a delightfully evil and fun Bowser so it is not all bad. That's really bad.
There are not a lot of great mysteries left. We lost something when the Library of Alexandria burned. There were skiers in the Dyatlov Pass. What does Chris sound like as a character? There is only one burning question left in the world after the answer to that last question.
