The trailer for The Super Mario Bros. Movie features some seriously meme-worthy casting. Fans were excited to see how crazy the film would be. More than 600,000 people watched the premiere on Nintendo of America's YouTube Channel and the trailer was streamed at New York Comic Con.
The trailer wasn't long but it didn't fail. ChrisPratt's voice came out of Mario's animated form and it was delightfully strange. Mario was admonishing him for thinking he was a mushroom when in fact he was Toad. The toad has an attitude. It's definitely true.
The trailer begins with a man trying to steal our stars. The Koopa Troopas follow Bowser to a snowy castle, where he wants them to open the gates. Some penguins attempt to throw snowballs at him, but they are unsuccessful.
Black is playing the terrifying Mario villain.
How long did it take you to learn how to breathe fire? The trailer was played along with a pre- recorded video by Black. Gene Simmons was the one who had to teach me.
Our own Greg Kumparak said thatBowser looks terrifying. Chris is also known as Mario.
The man is correct. Mario lands alone in the field after jumping out of a warp pipe into a Mushroom Kingdom. ChrisPratt's Mario seems more like Andy Dwyer than Star-Lord, and we love that for him.
He said before the trailer aired that he wanted to be Mario. He remembers playing the original Mario game at the laundromat.
We didn't get to see other performances from the star- studded cast, including Charlie Day as Luigi and the man who played Donkey Kong We might see them in the second trailer.
The movie is scheduled to premiere in April of 2023.
Nintendo announced that Chris Pratt will play Mario on the big screen
