I have been teaching the next generation for almost two decades. My role has led to a lot of conversations with parents of the next generation leaders. There are many questions about parental influence in these conversations. The intent of the question is the same, but the details might vary from family to family. In this questioning, resilience is a theme. Parents want to know how they can make sure their children are prepared for the problems they will inevitably face. The concern is both for the continuation of the family legacy as well as the success of the next generation member as an individual.
