Victor Wembanyama's performance came out of Tuesday's exhibition game between the Boulogne-Levallois Metropolitans 92 and G League Ignite and many people were impressed by it.

After the Los Angeles Lakers' preseason game against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, James called Wembanyama a "generational talent."

Wembanyama and the Metropolitans lost to the G League Ignite and Scoot Henderson in a match up of the presumptive top two picks in the NBA draft.

The players excelled in a game that was broadcasted. Henderson had a lot of points and assists in the victory.

Wembanyama finished with a game-high 37 points. The 18-year-old went 7-of-11 from the 3-point line.

As soon as the game ended, there was a lot of speculation about which teams would attempt to tank in order to get the top pick.

The league believes they have a better chance to sell a tanking strategy to both owners and fans because of how Wembanyama played.

The most-hyped draft prospect since James in 2003 is Wembanyama, according to one general manager.

There are many teams that are in a position to compete for the top pick in the draft. Utah Jazz moved on from some of their former players. The Atlanta Hawks got three first-round draft picks in the Dejounte Murray trade.

Oklahoma City's threat to hold out players in an attempt to get a better draft pick is something they've done many times. There are several teams that could be in the mix.

Despite being the top talent in the class, Wembanyama has no intention of shutting himself down to stay healthy, according to his agent.
