She-Hulk has been teasing people with a Daredevil appearance as a way to get them to watch. Today is the day that Matt and Daredevil will return to the MCU, hopping over from his time on the streaming service and arriving in a more meaningful way than his brief Spider-Man appearance.
It's great to see him again.

She-Hulk has to face off against Matt Murdock in court, where he's representing the man who made her supersuit, against an idiot wannabe superhero who injured himself while trying to fight crime.
The entire episode is a mix of flirting between Jen and Matt and her getting a bit of advice from him that she can be both a lawyer and a superhero when the law fails. Fans could have hoped for more.
Daredevil dodges her powerful blows with his hyperagility, only to be bested once she does her sonic slam which negates his hearing based movement abilities. We get a scene about the two of them debating tactics to take down a building full of goons, stealth versus brute force, and we get to see a mix of both styles.

There is a person named Daredevil.
I don't think you can make a case that they ruined Daredevil with jokes because of how goofy the show has been. Even if he is allowed to smile and flirt, Matt and Daredevil are the same character from the show.
The most controversial part of the episode is the fact that Matt and Jen sleep together. The Daredevil walk of shame is an out of character joke. Who doesn't care?

The episode ends with She-Hulk being slut-shamed with a leaked sex tape stolen and published by internet troll who are trying to bring her down, so it would be ironic if fans latched ontoJen sleeping with Matt as a negative development. It is enough for her to lose control for the first time in her life, but who can blame her?

I think we know who is behind this all and who is bankrolling goons to steal her blood. He is behind the phone cloning, the blood project, and the public. If that wasn't the case, they wouldn't showcase him.

We won't get any more Daredevil action next week, but there are hints that Titania will make a reappearance, and I would expect all of that to be revealed. This season is the first time in a long time that the show feels like a TV show rather than a movie.
