"We are devastated to announce that fitness coach Gian Piero Ventrone has passed away." Everyone will miss him.
Thursday 6 October will be in the United Kingdom.
Ventrone died at the age of 61.
Ventrone, nicknamed "The Marine" in Italy because of his rigorous training regimes, joined Spurs in November 2021.
He will be missed by everyone, according to Spurs.
Ventrone became a hugely popular figure with the players and staff because he was as loveable off the pitch as he was demanding on it.
The news conference was going to be held on Thursday, but it has been canceled.
During the time when he was a player for La Bianconeri, the Italian was working under two of the best coaches in the world.
He has worked for a number of clubs in Europe and Asia.
Spurs have run more than any other team in the league this season, thanks to the work done by the Italian.
Heung-Min Son spoke about the impact Ventrone has had on him off the pitch, after ending his goal barren spell with a hat-trick againstLeicester off the bench.
The Spurs forward said that he has a good relationship with Piero.
He has been so helpful, giving me a big hug in tough times and even great times, he has always been with me.
It means a great deal. He gives me a lot of advice, which I am really grateful for.
Harry Kane vomited after one of Ventrone's intense, two-hour long pre-season workouts in South Korea.
He was loved by the squad even though he worked hard.
"It's all for Gian Piero, actually," said the full-back. When you have a fitness coach who runs you ragged, you start to dislike him, but that's not the case.
All of us love him. We have a lot of respect for him, so we do what he tells us to.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg said that the Spurs loved him. He has a lot of experience. They put us through a lot of hard work and we know we will get better. It's nice to be productive.
