A former police officer opened fire at a daycare center in northeastern Thailand, killing at least 34 people, including 22 children.
At least 12 other people were injured in the shooting and eight of them are in serious condition.
Around 30 children were present at the daycare center at the time of the shooting.
The man who shot and killed a man is a former police officer who was recently dismissed from the force.
Police were urged to remain vigilant after Panya fled the scene using a white truck.
According to local media reports, the man returned home and killed his wife and child before taking his own life.
