The space station's crew of NASA astronauts, as well as European Space Agency astronauts, will be joined by Mann, Wakata, and Kikina.

The number of crew members on the International Space Station will increase to 11 until four crew members return to Earth.

Crew-5 is proof that we are living through a golden era of commercial space exploration according to NASA chief Bill Nelson. A new era is powered by the spirit of partnership, fueled by scientific ingenuity, and inspired by the search for new discoveries.

Crew-5 will conduct more than 200 science experiments and technology demonstrations, including studies on printing human organs in space and better understanding heart disease. While our eyes are focused on the heavens, we should remember that these missions will improve life on Earth.
