  • The Wilzig brothers built a castle in the 90's.

  • There are dragon sculptures in the castle that look like they came from Game of Throne.

  • Since it was built, the Wilzigs have gotten offers to sell it, but it's not for sale.

The castle is located on a hill in the quiet hamlet of Water Mill.

The top of the castle has ridges that look like teeth and are part of the castle's features.

Everybody's first question is why a castle. Ivan told Insider that he was an avid fan of Robin Hood and William Tell, as well as every movie that featured good and bad knights.

He said that he was fascinated by medieval times because he had an unusual first name in the US.

Ivan and his brother Alan bought five acres of land in September 1995 and proceeded to build a 15,000- square-foot home.

Water Mill andSouthampton were the center of nightlife before it moved to Montauk a few years ago, according to Ivan. A lot of new homes have been built in the hamlet since the brothers bought the land.

Southhampton is home to a number of celebrities, including Brooke Shields. The home of the Wilzigs is noteworthy.

The castle isn't built by a couple, that's one of the reasons it's unique. There are two master bedrooms, each with their own towers, built by two brothers.

Siggi was the former CEO of Wilshire Oil Company of Texas and the former chairman of the Trust Company of New Jersey, according to his obituary.

The Wilzig brothers are no longer bankers like their father. Alan and Ivan are both electronic dance music artists and reality stars.

Ivan regales his 14,500 followers with snaps of himself alongside bikini-clad women at parties, promotion for his father's biography, and photos of his "Peacemobile."

Ivan had a license plate that said "Sir Ivan" and his brother had a plate that said "Sir Alan" when they moved into the castle.

Ivan thought he was cute with the people on the cars.

The insides of the castle look like an opulent palace, unlike the exterior which looks like it came out of a legend.

The medieval stone features in the interior of the home were not welcome. The brothers were able to compromise on their visions.

My brother said he would build you a castle, but it wouldn't feel like a castle. Ivan said it would be like the Palace of Versailles. That's how the fortress was built.

Ivan said that the money to build the castle came from their father, who was ill at the time. He told us to never sell it.

Ivan was the one who came up with the idea to build a castle, but Alan and his girlfriend, Karin, were the ones who actually built it.

Ivan said that the couple went out to the construction site every weekend to do most of the work.

I would give him the answer. He'll want to know if a 20 by 20 dance floor is large enough. I will tell him that it needs to be bigger. Ivan said to make it 25 by 25.

The Wilzig castle is not a particular style or period. It's a mix of Alan's favorite features.

Alan told Insider that he used architectural books to get the design right.

Alan said that he was given information about the different types of plaster applications.

The castle was built and decorated in 18 months.

Ivan said that his family bought all the furniture, lighting, and artwork and put it in a warehouse. A caravan of trucks brought everything out to the castle.

He said that each item was labeled with information about which room it would go in.

It looked like a colony of ants. Every trade was represented there at the same time. Ivan said that they were running around all day long.

Four themed guest rooms can be found in the castle. Ivan said that one of the rooms felt like it was in a tomb.

The room has faux sand block walls and is decorated with Egyptian artifacts.

A Roman-themed room has busts and pottery.

Alan said that the themed guest rooms are from the past.

The owners of the castles would send people on travels around the world at a certain point in history.

They discovered items they didn't have in their own countries when they traveled, such as silk and tapestries.

The house has a garage that is 1,500 square feet.

"It's a dungeon, but also a changing area for the pool, and you can put cars in it so it's still the garage."

Alan doesn't have a background in architecture or history despite being the lead designer for the castle.

He was inspired by his father's experience of not being able to attend school due to the war.

The Nazis ended his formal education in fifth grade. For me, that was the ultimate incentive to say that I'm going to learn how everything works.

Alan moved out of the castle after a decade of living there with his brother.

Ivan wrote a check to his brother when he decided to have children. It was built to be an extravagant, fun, wild, single life house. It's not a good idea to have it be Sesame Street with kids screaming and crying.

Alan is still attached to the castle even though he no longer owns it.

It was cool to own it, but it was even cooler to build it.

Ivan loves the nude sculpture in the middle of the pool that depicts his ex-girlfriend turning into a dragon.

Ivan said that the previous sculpture was of a topless woman, which Alan took with him when he left.

Ivan wanted to have his girlfriend pose for a nude dragon sculpture.

He said it was unbelievable how much detail there was. Her hands are still feminine, but her feet are turning. You can see that she is going from smooth skin to reptilian scales.

There are more than one dragon in the pool and on the table on the balcony.

Insider toured Ivan's NYC loft with a closet dedicated to his collection of capes in the middle of the year.

He owns a $10.2 million W South Beach penthouse.

Ivan has thrown extravagant parties in the house over the years, includingraisers for his Peaceman Foundation, which helps people affected by post traumatic stress disorder.

According to Ivan, the castle has been featured on several shows, including DiscoveryTV'sEpic Castles and Chef Roble & Co. Paul and Tyson didn't reply to Insider's questions.

Guests are encouraged to dress up for most of his parties. He had a superhero party, a "Medieval Madness" birthday party for his ex-girlfriend, and a "Garden ofEDEN" birthday party.

Ivan had a woman make a wig that was 25 feet long. She let her hair down so someone could climb up the balcony.

Ivan says he doesn't want to sell the castle because he enjoys it so much.

The New York Post reported in September that there has been a spike in interest in the house since the show "House of Dragons" aired.

Ivan said he might think about buying the castle if it's worth $75 million.
