GOP Georgia Senate candidate Herschel Walker, who has railed against abortion access throughout his campaign, denied a Daily Beast report that he paid for a woman's procedure more than a decade ago.
The former football player called the report a lie and said he couldn't figure out who the woman was.

The woman's identity is still being protected by the outlet, but they used receipts to corroborate her account of the abortion as well as her relationship to her child, whom Walker has acknowledged as his own.
A representative for Walker didn't reply immediately.
The woman said she was floored by Walker's response, given their long-term relationship and shared child.
"Sure, I was stunned, but I guess it also doesn't shock me, that maybe there are just so many of us that he really doesn't remember," she said. It says something if he forgot about it.
The anonymous woman told The Beast that Walker's rejection made her share more details about their relationship.
I've been very nice. I don't say anything. I don't bother anyone. I'm not in the picture. She said that she wouldn't get run over again. That's insane.
The woman, who identifies as a Christian, told the outlet that when she was pregnant with Walker's second child, he told her it was not a good time for him. He never apologized for their decision to have an abortion.
He seemed like a good choice to me. She stated that he was pro-choice.
Walker is fighting for a key Senate position in a tight race and the allegations have thrown him into a frenzy. Christian Walker, one of Walker's sons, called his father a liar in a series of social media posts.

Some of Christian Walker's criticisms were echoed by a woman.
I don't think the Bible says to have four kids with four different women at the same time. There is a place where it praises not being a parent. It's a terrible thing for anyone else to do when you're running for Senate if you do an abortion. She said that he chooses where he uses the religious crutch.
The Republican Party has rallied around Walker despite the controversy surrounding him.
