A 600-room hotel will open in Fort Worth, Texas, early next year, and it will serve a very special purpose.

The hotel is located on the American Airlines headquarters campus, which is named for the airline's legendary former CEO, Robert Crandall.

It's not open to the public and there's a catch about whether you can earn or redeem AAdvantage miles at this hotel.
