Cole Beasley, a veteran receiver, has decided to retire.

"He is ready to be with his family after playing in 11 seasons and it's time to be a full-time dad and husband," Turner said.

He had four catches for 17 yards in the two games he played.

In the third week of the season, he made his season debut. Mike Evans was suspended and two other players were injured. All three players came back in Week 4.

The wideout said he reached out to Tom Brady prior to signing.

According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, Beasley decided to step away from the game even with reported interest from the New York Giants.

Over the course of 11 years in the NFL, the player racked up 554 catches for three different teams. He earned second-team All-Pro honors in 2020 when he had a career-best 971 receiving yards for the Bills.
