The ad perpetuated negative gender stereotypes and was likely to cause harm. The advert reinforced the idea that women should be submissive to men in order to maintain a successful relationship.

The man in the video did no work that was reciprocated. The title and overt messaging made it a damaging depiction of gender roles.

After reaching out to Match, they did not hear back.
