The Braves secured the NL East title with a win over the Miami Marlins on Tuesday night.

The franchise has won the division five times in the last six years.

Atlanta is aiming to win back-to-back World Series titles after winning it all in 2021.

The Braves had to replace first baseman Freddie Freeman, who signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers, with Matt Olson, who was acquired from the Oakland A's.

He slashed.235/.325/.474 with 33 home runs and 101 runs scored in 160 games for the Braves. The Braves have remained one of the best teams in baseball because of his replacement.

Ronald Acuna Jr.'s return has allowed Atlanta to remain one of the best teams this season.

Since returning to the lineup, he's slashed.265/.348/.414 with 15 home runs and 49 runs scored.

The Braves want more at second base because of the injuries to Ozzie Albies, but the promotion of Vaughn Grissom has paid off as he's hitting.290/.361/.435 with five home runs and 17RBI in 40 games.

Spencer Strider has been the team's best pitcher, despite the fact that Max Fried, Charlie Morton, Kyle Wright and Jake Odorizzi hold down the Atlanta rotation.

He is 11-5 this season with a 2.67 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 202 strikeouts in 131.2 appearances with 20 starts He is likely to finish in the top of the NL rookies of the year voting.

Since the Dodgers have the best record in all of baseball, the Braves can now focus on remaining healthy for the playoffs.
