Blizzard president blames ‘mass DDOS attack’ for keeping you from playing Overwatch 2

In theory, the sequel to the hit video game was launched today. Many people trying to check out the removed 5v5 team shooter action are seeing a screen, even though the game's server clicked on this afternoon.

Some of the issues can be traced back to a mass attack on the server. The teams are working hard to mitigate. A lot of connection issues are being caused by this. There is no estimate for when the problems will be solved.

We have seen a lot of streamers in matches. If you're having trouble getting into a game, it might be because of this attack.

There are other issues and bugs tracked in a forum thread. Some players who have merged their PC and console accounts may get an unexpected server error.
