Emma Raducanu: British number one knocked out of Ostrava Open by Daria Kasatkina

In the first round of the Ostrava Open, Emma was defeated by fifth-seeded Daria Kasatkina.

The 19-year-old was defeated by the 11th ranked Russian.

The defeat came after British number one Raducanu retired injured from her Korea Open semi- final against Jelena Ostapenko.

During her first full year on the tour, she has had to contend with injuries as she tries to build on her US Open victory.

The next round will feature a match between two Russians.

There was British success for Dan Evans.

Evans and Dart both won their matches at the Rakuten Open in Tokyo and the Jasmine Open in Tunisia.

Carlos Alcaraz, the world's top ranked man, lost at the Astana Open.

The 19-year-old Alcaraz was defeated for the first time this season.

"I think I have the ability to cause some trouble against those guys," said the world's 66th ranked man.
