In a court filing Tuesday, Brad Pitt was accused of being violent with his wife and several of their children during a private plane ride in 2016 which led to the end of their high-profile marriage.

The two owners of a French winery filed a cross complaint in a Los Angeles court.
The filing, which was seen by the New York Times, described a September 2016 incident in which Pitt allegedly had a physical and verbal outburst during a private plane right from France to California.
Pitt yelled at her in the plane bathroom, shook her and pushed her against the plane wall after accusing her of being too deferential to their children, according to the filing.
According to the filing, one of the couple's children came to Pitt's defense, causing him to lunge at the child, strike one child in the face and choke another, and pour beer and wine on the couple and their children.
Pitt asked her to sign a nondisclosure agreement that would have prevented her from speaking out about the physical and emotional abuse of her and their children, which caused the talks to stall.
Sources close to Pitt have been quoted in publications denying the allegations and representatives for the couple did not respond to Forbes.
The FBI report of the incident was released to the two camps through a freedom of information act request and later obtained by several media outlets. According to the report, Jolie told investigators that Pitt asked her to speak privately in the back of the plane after he had an altercation with one of the children. Pitt told their children that their mother was crazy. The Tuesday filing alleged that the government had probable cause to charge Pitt with a federal crime for his conduct that day. The FBI closed the investigation after prosecutors declined to bring charges. The two purchased a controlling stake in the vineyard in the South of France.
