Jonathan Taylor is hopeful that he will be able to play Thursday night against the Denver Broncos despite a badly twisted right ankle.
The All- Pro running back said Tuesday that he has seen improvement since Sunday.
Taylor said that if he can't go, he won't. You have to get as much treatment as possible.
During Tuesday's light practice, Taylor wore a boot on his leg and was a spectator. Doctors have told Reich that Taylor is not at risk for further injury.
Reich said that it's not a concern at the moment. He's not ready to go right now, but we'll see if he'll be ready to go Thursday night.
The turf toe injury that limited him last week has improved.
It's in a good place now, but still dealing with that. The main thing is to get that ankle back to normal.
The Colts All-Pro LB had a broken nose and a concussion after the game. Reich said that part of Leonard's injury could affect his return to the lineup, but the team can't determine that until they see the extent of Leonard's injury.
Leonard had back surgery in the summer and was making his season debut in the fall.
Reich said that he is the heart and soul of the group. I don't think I'm good for him. He spent a lot of time getting back. That means a lot to him. It means a lot to him that the team is successful. I have come to appreciate that.
