Rob Manfred, everyone!

On Monday, there wasn't a game on the schedule that was worth watching. Wild-card seeding doesn't get the blood flowing.

The last weekend of the season is supposed to be a time for some drama, but in the first act of the new world, there wasn't one. If there was an extra game, the New York Mets or Milwaukee Brewers would still have a chance to push the season further. There is not enough room for the emporium because it must start on time.

It won't be like this often. In the future, there could be two teams competing for the third wild-card spot. Is that really great? The two teams aren't good enough to make the playoffs. Two teams are throwing their feces at each other while fans watch.

Rob, you've done a great job. The spirit of baseball is really captured.
