Last chance: Earn 60,000 bonus points and double elite nights with the World of Hyatt Business card

Two updates to the World of Hyatt Business Credit Card have made it easier to earn elite status and World of Hyatt points.

The World of Hyatt program is one of the reasons we love it. Due to the fact that there are less co branded credit cards available in the program, these points can be harder to earn than their hotel counterparts.

The World of Hyatt Credit Card offers great benefits for just 95 a year. We were hoping for a premium version of the card.

The World of Hyatt Business Credit Card was launched in October of 2021. The card's current offer is still quite good, even though the original offer of 75,000 bonus points has been eliminated. Adding bonus categories and double tier-earning nights add value.

We're in the final days to take advantage of this offer. You must be approved by October 6th. You can get two Tier-Qualifying Night credits for each night you stay.

Current welcome offer for new applicants

In the first three months of account opening, new applicants of the World of Hyatt Business Credit Card will receive 60,000 bonus points.

New cardholders who apply for and are approved for the card by October 6th are included. Each night they stay, they will get two tier-qualifying night credits. Those who open the card during this time will earn nights more quickly than others.

There are a few hundred Small Luxury Hotels of the World properties in the World of Hyatt portfolio. You can now use your points at over 50 all-inclusive properties.

Extension of benefits for new and current cardholders

The World of Hyatt Business Credit Card has a bonus points system.

The ability to earn bonus points in your top three spending categories was set to end in December. 2 points per dollar will be earned in the top two spending categories each quarter after this extension.

Who can apply for this card?

If you frequently stay at Hyatt properties for business travel, you may be eligible for the card, even if you aren't a traditional business owner.

If you use a business credit card, you don't have to have a physical store or company. You can qualify for the World of Hyatt Business Card if you are a self-employed, independent contractor or driver for the ride hailing service.

You can apply for the business version of the World of Hyatt Credit Card if you already have it. If you have opened five or more credit cards in the past 24 months, you won't be able to use this card.

There is a credit card battle between the World of Hyatt card and the World of Hyatt business card.

Is the World of Hyatt Business Card worth it?

The World of Hyatt Business Credit Card isn't the right fit for everyone. You can expect a lot of benefits from the card.

• Earn an additional 4 points per dollar on Hyatt stays (on top of what you earn as a World of Hyatt member), 2 points per dollar on your top three eligible spend categories (through Dec. 31, 2023, then your top two categories), 2 points per dollar on gym memberships and 1 point per dollar on all other eligible purchases.
• Up to $100 in annual Hyatt credits: Spend $50 or more at any Hyatt property and earn a $50 statement credit (available twice per card anniversary year).
• A Hyatt Leverage membership, which is Hyatt’s global business travel program that offers discounts at participating Hyatt hotels to qualifying companies.
• Spend your way toward World of Hyatt elite status: Earn five tier-qualifying night credits for each $10,000 spent on the card.
• 10% redemption bonus: Spend $50,000 in a calendar year and get 10% of your redeemed points back for the rest of the year (on up to 200,000 points redeemed).
• Automatic World of Hyatt Discoverist elite status and the ability to gift this same status to up to five employees.
• No additional cost to add employee cards.
• Travel and purchase protections.
• No foreign transaction fees.

Hyatt recently raised award rates at a number of popular properties, but there are still many sweet spots to get the most out of your points.

If you use the 60,000 bonus points from the current welcome offer on the Hyatt Business card, you can get a week at the Alila Ubud in Indonesia or two nights at the Hana Maui Resort in Hawaii.

The new Chase Hyatt Business card is disappointing.

You can earn Hyatt points with the World of Hyatt Business card. For the first year, the World of Hyatt Business card gives applicants the chance to earn 60,000 Hyatt points.

Cardholders can earn bonus points in their top three spending categories each quarter and add a year to the number of categories where they earn bonus points.

Double tier-qualifying credits on stays from today through the end of the year are the most valuable benefit for new applicants. You need to get the card by October 6, 2022. To take advantage of the limited-time offer, you need to be in the country at that time.

There are perks for big spenders.
