Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is the final film in the MCU's Phase Four.

The people of Wakanda face a new threat from a feathered serpent god in the new trailer for Black Panther. It's the final film in the fourth and final phase of the cinematic universe and will be released on Disney+ in December.

We have previously reported that the movie was already in development when Boseman died of colon cancer. Boseman was ill and many people had no idea. Although most of the other main cast members are returning, they decided not to replace T'Challa with another person. The movie is a tribute to Boseman.

There are a lot of familiar people in the movie. Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M'Baku, Okoye, and the Dora Milaje are fighting to protect their nation from world powers. In order to forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia and Everett Ross.

The king of a tribe that lives underwater in a world known as Talokan is among the new faces. The film will introduce a new Black Panther, possibly Shuri, who takes up the mantle in the comics, as well as Riri Williams, who is a protegé of Tony Stark. Thorne will portray Riri in the upcoming Ironheart series on Disney+.

At Comic-Con in July, there was a somber, elegiac first glimpse of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which we thought captured the grief and sense of loss of T'Challa's death. D23 expo attendees were treated to new footage showing the broader impact and political ramifications.

At the end of Black Panther, T'Challa showed the assembled representatives of the United Nations the true nature of his country. Queen Ramonda faced an angry UN to defend her country. Soldiers invaded a vibranium plant, but they were defeated by Okoye and Dora Milaje. Talokan and Namor were worried that T'Challa's big reveal had put their land at risk.

The new trailer begins with T'Challa's funeral, followed by scenes of Talokan and a brief narration from Namor that says "Only the most broken people can be great leaders." "They call him K'uk'ulkan, the feather serpent god, because he isn't a general or king," M'Baku told us. Killing him could lead to war. With the death of T'Challa, it seems that the surface world has been taken over by a new leader.

We will definitely get a lot of action on that score. There are several shots of Namor flying through the sky, thanks to his winged ankles, and Wakanda amassing its resources in response to the looming threat. Riri is working on her Ironheart costume while flying in the sky. There is a shot of the new Black Panther with a feminine silhouette.
