Mike Klis @mikeklisPer sources, MRI knee exam mixed results for Broncos OLB Randy Gregory. He will need scope on right knee and will be sidelined several weeks. Good news is ACL is intact. There was worry there. Huge loss as Gregory has been a force on field and pro off it. #9sports
There is a timetable for Gregory's return.
Gregory told reporters he was fine after the game, but he didn't want to talk about the injury.
He signed a five-year, $70 million contract with the Broncos in March after five years with the Cowboys. He had knee surgery in January and was concerned about his health when he accepted the deal.
He didn't play more than 14 games in a season with Dallas because of violating the league's substance abuse policy. Gregory was suspended for two games in each of the last three years.
In the first four games of his Broncos career, he had nine tackles, two sacks and two forced turnovers.
With a Thursday game against the Indianapolis Colts, the Broncos will be short-handed. According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, running back Javonte Williams will miss the rest of the season due to injuries.
