It has been over two decades since George Clooney and Julia Roberts worked together in Ocean's Eleven, but they are back together in Money Monster. The upcoming romantic comedy Ticket to Paradise is a lot lighter in tone than most of their previous films. In a recently released promo for the film, Clooney and Roberts were having too much fun to devote much time to promoting the film.
The ticket to paradise featurette is called "rotten together".
Clooney admitted that Ticket to Paradise allowed him and Roberts to be bad to each other in real life. George Clooney and Julia Roberts play David and Georgia Cotton in the film. They were young and in love at one point. David and Georgia don't want to be near each other. David and Georgia joined forces to stop their daughter from marrying a man she just met on a tropical island.
The twist is that the former lovers fall in love again even as they pretend that they are already back together. The setup is ripe for comedy and miscommunication. David encountered a dolphin in one of the preview clips. It might be too close.
The man she intends to wed is played by Maxime Bouttier in the movie. The two actors will co-star as Paul and WrenButler.
Daniel Pipski co- wrote the script with OlParker. It will be released in a theater on October 21.
