Multiple reports say that a top-of-the-line Russian nuclear-powered submarine has gone missing from its harbor in the northern part of the country.

According to reports, NATO warned members that the Belgorod submarine no longer appeared to be operating out of the White Sea base. According to Italian media, officials warned that Russia may test Belgorod's "Poseidon" weapons system, a drone with a nuclear bomb that Russia has claimed is capable of creating a "radioactive tsunami."

At a depth of 1 kilometer, the drones can be deployed from the submarine at any time. The device can create a 1,600-ft. wave that smashes into the coast and irradiates it.

The 600-ft. submarine was delivered to the Russian Navy in July as part of Russian President Vladimir Putin's top- secret program that aims to develop and operate a series of new "super weapons."

Russian troops were boxed in by the UK and the Deeper River.

Rebekah Koffler, a strategic intelligence expert and author of "Putin's Playbook," warned that Russia's use of such a weapon would only come as a last resort in the event of a war between Russia and the U.S.

There are calls for volunteers in the South of the UK.

According to Koffler, the device is likely not to be operational until 2027, but Putin may be testing it as a means to intimidate bothUkraine's NATO allies in the West. Russia's use of nuclear weapons is not a bluff according to Putin.

Koffler is not surprised that Belgorod's location is not known. According to Koffler, Russian submarines have sneaked into the U.S. waters in the past.

"Russian nuclear-powered attack submarines, armed with long-range cruise missiles, operate undetected for weeks close to U.S. shores," Koffler said.

In the early 2010s, a submarine was only detected when it left the U.S. waters.

Koffler said that his colleagues from the Office of Naval Intelligence got a dressing down after the event.
