Report: Titans' Treylon Burks Won't Need Surgery but Out 'Some Time' with Toe Injury

According to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, the TennesseeTitans wide receiver is going to miss some time after being diagnosed with turf toe.

Burks will not need surgery on the injury. He wore a boot on his feet after the game and was carted off the field.

The loss of the 22-year-old was a big blow to the team since they selected him with the 18th pick in the draft.

The TennesseeTitans traded A.J. Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles and didn't re-sign Julio Jones in the off-season. In four games, the young man has 10 catches for 129 yards.

If he is out for an extended period of time, the team will likely rely more on Woods and Ikhine in the aerial attack for the time being.
