In a rather surprising move, a select group of people are being offered a free service for the rest of the year. Users were told that they were eligible for the offer in emails over the weekend.
The users who received the offer were Nicholas Sutrich and Mishaal Rahman. According to the email, the free Fi service is offered to local guides for their contribution to the map service. There is a button to redeem the offer.

Users have the option to redeem to choose their plan. It is possible to get the offer for any of the unlimited plans, which can cost as much as $65 per month for an individual line.
Users can either opt-out at the end of the trial or continue the service with their choice of plan. Users must port in their numbers to take advantage of the offer. Nick couldn't get the offer because he was a first-time user of the service.
