Space.com's editors present a reading list for space and sci-fi lovers, as well as children who are interested in astronomy and spaceflight. (Image credit: Space.com/Jeremy Lips)

It can feel a little overwhelming to figure out where to start with a book about space, since there are so many to choose from. The editors and writers at Space.com have compiled a list of their favorite books. We love the books that entertained us and inspired us. We wish they would do the same for you.

Each of the five categories has a dedicated page. We feature books we're currently reading and books we've recently read. To see the best of, click here.

There's something for everyone on our lists. We want to hear about your favorite space books, so please leave your suggestions in the comments, and tell us why you love them. The coverage of Space Books can be found here.
