As part of a partnership announced Monday, Peloton will put bikes in all of the 5,400 hotels owned by theHilton.
At least one bike will be given to each hotel by the partnership, which includes locations of the 18Hilton subsidiaries. A 90-day free trial of the app will be given to members of the honor club.
Adding another bike will be an option for hotels that already have one. The majority of locations will have the system by the end of the year.
The partnership builds on an existing hotel footprint for Peloton, which says hotel guests have completed 1.6 million rides in the last two years.
The global vice president of Peloton's commercial branch said that her first experience with the company was while on vacation. We love brands with a focus on health and we are excited to bring Peloton to our guests nationwide.
The brand began as a direct-to-consumer brand. The company announced last week that it would sell its products in Dick's stores. There are bike rentals, certified preowned bikes and a sales partnership with Amazon.
Barry McCarthy took the helm of the company in February and has been working to turn it around. During the changeover of power, the company announced significant changes and layoffs.
A representative from the company said that more changes to the company's strategy are on the way.
The company's first international hire, Chief Commercial Officer Kevin Cornils, joined the company in September. The head of marketing left the company last week.
