The upcoming all-electric version of the GranTurismo is getting some new information from Maserati. The Grecale electric SUV was announced earlier this year, but The GranTurismo Folgore will be the first EV from the company. The company plans to offer electric versions of every model by 2025.

The GranTurismo Folgore will have three 300 kilowatt permanent magnet electric motor. The 800-volt architecture allows the car to fast charge at 270 kilowatts. The two traditional gas versions of the Granismo are the Trofeo and the Modena.

The electric Folgore will have a 0-62mph acceleration in 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 186 mph, which is slightly faster than the fastest car on the market. It can reach a top speed of 199mph, almost the same as the Model S Plaid.

All four of the passengers can sit as low as the gas versions of the GranTurismo thanks to the 92.5kWh battery pack that is housed in the Folgore. The Folgore has less storage capacity than the gas versions, but it still has enough room for an extra leg room.

Is it possible to tell which one is electric.

The EV and gas models look the same on the outside, but there are some differences, like the charge port cover on the rear left, and no tailpipes. The GranTurismos have mostly the same interiors as the Folgore, but the bucket seats are made of recycled ocean waste.

A bunch of screens are being added to the driver's seat. You will be greeted with a digital instrument cluster, a central infotainment screen, a comfort display for adjusting the A/C, and an option for a heads-up display.

The center clock is a screen as well. You can choose from a compass, a G-Force meter, or a stopwatch to make it your own. Status indicators include when the Folgore is charging, when your phone starts charging, and when you connect your phone to the internet. When you interact with the Mia voice assistant on the clock, it will show you sound waves.

There will be more details on the electric Folgore at a future event. The company has a plan to have an all-electric lineup by the year 2025.
