The Bills Mafia donated money to the charity of Tua Tagovailoa after he suffered a concussion.

The Tua Foundation has received more than 1,000 donations, according to the executive director.

Fans of the Buffalo Bills, who have a reputation for donating to the charities of players from other teams, are thanked by the foundation officials.

Tagovailoa left Miami's 27-15 loss to Cincinnati on Thursday after hitting the turf during a sack.

He appeared to be suffering from concussion-like symptoms less than a week prior to the Bills game. It was classified as a back injury.

The consultant who cleared the Dolphins quarterback to return against the Bills was fired by the players association.

Tagovailoa is focused on recovering so he can return to the field with his teammates.
