Everyone knows how bad group text can be. You can't do anything about the phone blowing up, just hope the thread quiets down.
It's possible to remove yourself from an iMessage Group with Apple's support in the past.
All users will now be able to chat with one another in the year 2019. It's not possible to leave a group message with an email. If you want your phone to not alert you every time someone responds to the group conversation, you can change the settings on your phone.

If you want to leave a group message in the Messages app, you have to open it first.

You should be able to see the images of those in the chat under the status bar. This will open a new menu, and you'll be able to find the information you're looking for.

The details section will be brought to you by hitting the button. Select "Leave this Conversation" at the bottom of the screen and you'll be removed.
If the "Leave this Conversation" option isn't shown, it means someone in the group text isn't using the latest version of Apple's mobile device operating system. You can't leave the conversation if that is the case. If you want to hide notifications, you can choose to remove the message or mute them.
It's not possible for users to leave a conversation completely. You will need to hide the conversation. Your phone won't be constantly going off when someone responds to the conversation in chat.
Follow these steps to silence a group text.
This is the first thing. If you want to listen to the group discussion, tap it.

It's not possible to hide updates from just one major offenders on the group text. The entire group conversation needs to be hidden. You can prevent that person from texting you.
