It is one of the best parts of this deal that it is a discount on premium economy seats, so you can fly to Istanbul with some comfort and at a sizeable discount.

There are two Delta and Air France flights to Istanbul from JFK. There are two flights leaving New York City at the same time. It's just a matter of preference since both include a stop in Paris.
