Lions' Jamaal Williams Fined $13,261 for 'Unsportsmanlike' TD Dance vs. Vikings

The Detroit Lions running back was fined $13,000 for unsportsmanlike conduct on his touchdown celebration.

Williams brought out his version of the famous three pump hip thrust celebration from Key and Peele. He was fined 15 yards for unsportsmanlike conduct.

The thing is not thrusting. It is similar to a wave. I have been getting away with it for a long time but now they want to make me pay for it. I wasn't happy. I was sad and upset because I gave the team a penalty.

Williams is not the first player to do that.

Williams is off to a great start with the Lions. In three games he has rushed for 168 yards and four touchdown and caught four passes for 29 yards.

Swift has been ruled out of the Seattle game with a shoulder injury and the backup is expected to get more playing time.

An unrestricted free agent after this season, Williams signed a two-year deal with the Lions in the off-season.

The Packers drafted him in the fourth round of the NFL draft. He was the Green and Gold's leading scorer in 60 games with 1,985 yards and 10 touchdown. He caught 122 passes and scored eight times.
