1994's The Crow is one of the most famous movie remakes of all time. There have been many starts and stops in the effort to get the reboot off the ground. When it was announced earlier this year that Bill Skarsgrd was going to star in a remake, it felt like seventh verse, the same as the first verse.
Filming for The Crow ended yesterday, September 30th, in the Czech Republic. Hundreds of extras showed up in formal attire for one of the film's major set pieces. There was filming at the Penzing Studios outside of Munich for the purpose of virtual production.
Considering how long the film has been in the works, it's not really a big deal. Hollywood has been trying to get this off the ground since 2008, when the director of Blade announced his plans to remake the superhero film. Every few years, a new director and leading man would be attached to the film, and such actors as Bradley Cooper, James McAvoy, andluke Evans have been attached to the film. Alex Proyas, the original director of Crow, argued that his movie shouldn't be re-made since it wouldn't have the same effect as Lee's final performance.
When we get an official first look at The Crow's, it will elicit a wide range of reactions, and it will eventually come out.
There is a film called Collider.
