Trump wrote on Truth Social that he believes the Senate Minority Leader is doing so because he hates Donald J. Trump or because he believes in the fake news.
Either reason is not acceptable. There is a death wish for him.
"Must immediately seek help and advise from his China loving wife, Coco Chow!" said the former president.
Trump didn't specify which bill he was attacking McConnell for approving, and it's not clear why he suggested the senator support the Green New Deal even though the bill died in 2019.
A person for Trump and McConnell did not respond to the request.
The bipartisan bill to reform the Electoral Count Act was supported by McConnell on Tuesday. The bill would make it harder to challenge election results in state.
McConnell said he would support the legislation if there were no technical changes made to it. The need for an update was underscored by the chaotic January 6 of last year.
