Boxer Luis Quinones Dead At 25, 5 Days After Knockout Loss

Luis Quinones had a head injury and died on Thursday. He was a young man.

Quinones is unable to get back on his feet after he fell during the fight. He was stretchered out of the ring and taken to a hospital.

Quinones had a blood clot in his brain and was in a coma after surgery. He was declared brain dead on Thursday and was placed on a respirator.

Luis Quinones, an exceptional human being, disciplined and who always showed the greatest commitment to this sport, died on Thursday.

The staff at the General Clinic of the North did a great job of taking care of Luis during this time.

The man who is his sparring partner is devastated by his death.

Quinones was inspired by Chavez and decided to become a professional boxer. He was the first one to make his debut.
