The UFC organization made a sudden announcement earlier in the week that it would be closing its Saturday fight card in Las Vegas to the press and public. Dana White didn't give a firm explanation for the closing, but he did say that he wanted to give the fighting press a rest. It's a good thing.
The story didn't last long. On his Wednesday radio show, the MMA talking head said that a "very good source, very close to the event" had said that the closing had something to do with Facebook.
The theory was confirmed later that day by the UFC strawweight.
"I'm driven to put on a good show for Mark and whoever's gonna be there, and I know Mark rented out the whole event," she said.

The UFC debacle comes after a tumultuous week for the founder, who after dropping from third richest person in the world to twentieth, reportedly announced a major Meta restructuring. It's not been a great year for Meta, and there's something about it that makes it feel like a depression band.
It's possible that this could be a sports-related metaverse promo since the Quest Pro launch date is close. It's anyone's guess. We won't be watching because media isn't allowed on Saturday.
