A complaint about inappropriate text messages sent by the club's commercial director to a female agent was dismissed as irrelevant by the president of business.

Two weeks after the messages were first brought to the attention of Glick, he told her the issue was not interesting and he had "set it aside".

He didn't pay much attention to the messages Kim had been sent by Damian.

When Kim challenged his response, he agreed to review the messages again, and an internal review resulted in the dismissal of Willoughby.

Once the "severity" of the allegations had become apparent, the matter was immediately moved to the next level.

He regrets that he didn't appreciate the full extent of the allegations.

Kim's firm C&P Sports Group was involved in the bid to buy the English soccer team.

One of the first appointments after the takeover by an investment group led by businessman Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital was that of Willoughby. He started on 5 September.

He was an executive at City Football Group, as well as a vice president at Electronic Arts Sports, before he was hired as a vice president at Chelsea.

On 3 September, Kim told Glick that she didn't feel comfortable working with Willoughby on a project because she had recently found his manner to be aggressive during a meeting and subsequent phone call.

She shared the messages she had received over the course of two years, in which she was asked to send nude pictures and if she would be naughty.

There was no reply from Glick.

Kim chased up on her complaint when she didn't hear from Glick for a week.

Glick blamed his lack of response to him being busy "rescheduling matches and a manager change" and then that he had "come down with Covid".

On the 18th of September, Kim and Glick talked on the phone.

Glick told her that he had seen some of the headlines of the stuff that she had sent and that it was not something he was particularly interested in.

He said he put it aside. We are going to have to deal with it now that you have raised it again. I'm going to have to look at what you sent. I didn't pay much attention to the details.

He said he needed to go back and look at what was sent to him.

On the day after the phone call, Glick sent Kim a text saying that he had read what she had sent to him. This matter is being taken very seriously by us. Following an internal review, I will return to you again.

The next day, he was dismissed.

The matter was immediately reviewed after the seriousness of the allegations that Catalina Kim raised to Tom Glick became apparent. The individual's employment was terminated after an investigation was done.

He regrets that he didn't appreciate the full extent of the allegations. The individual's employment was terminated after Mr Glick read the evidence and took appropriate steps.

The club is committed to treating all stakeholders with dignity and respect, and does not tolerate behavior that falls below the standards set by the club. The club has offered protection to Ms Kim.

The club's whistleblowing line, as well as the club's safeguarding team, can be used to escalate complaints.
