The coach of the New Orleans Saints said Friday that quarterback Jameis Winston is unlikely to play in the game in London against the Minnesota Vikings.
The two injured men have not practiced over the last three days.
If Jameis is inactive for Sunday's game, Andy would start at quarterback for the Saints. The Saints signed Dalton to a one-year contract in the off-season after playing four quarterbacks in a row.
Allen said that their plan is to have Andy ready to leave. Andy will be ready to go if we go in that direction.
He has played in London. He was a starter in two games there, including a 27-27 tie in 2016 against Washington and current Vikings quarterback KirkCousins.
