You might have noticed that your Notification Center looks different if you've upgraded to the new operating system on your phone. The notifications are placed at the bottom of the display instead of taking up the entire screen. What is Apple's rationale? Since there are many new ways to personalize your lock screen, it's meant to showcase it.

Don't worry if you don't like it. It can be changed back to its original format. We show you how to change your notifications back to the old look and how to switch to a new view.

There are three ways to display notifications.

The video is about Apple.

Features like Scheduled Summary, Show Previews, and Screen Sharing were only available in Notification settings. Count, Stack, and List are new ways to view notifications in the Notification Center in Apple's latest operating system. They differ in a number of ways.

This is how notifications have been shown on the phone for a long time. If you don't like the new stacked view in Apple's mobile operating system, you should choose something else. The lock screen will show all of your notifications in one place.

This is the default after you upgrade to the new operating system. All of your notifications will show at the bottom of the display. The bundle expands to fill the screen if you tap on it. Older notifications can be seen at the bottom of the screen when you swiped up. The view is great for people who want to focus on the lockscreen wallpaper more than anything.

The count view only shows the total number at the bottom of the screen. If you have more than one missed call and two unread text messages, you will see 8 notifications at the bottom of the screen. You can see them and hide them at the same time.

The lock screen notification design can be changed.

  1. Open Settings and tap on Notifications.
  2. In the Display As module at the top, tap Count, Stack, or List based on what you prefer.

Follow the steps above again if you ever want to change view.

You can always switch between the three views from the lock screen if you choose to do so. Swipe all the way up from the bottom of the display to see all your notifications in a list view, then you can use the Stack View feature to hide notifications and show only the total number.
