Coolio, who died yesterday at the age of 59, was a prolific actor who appeared in more than 100 movies and TV shows. According to David X. Cohen, Coolio recorded new dialogue and music for the upcoming Futurama remake, which will have one more posthumous outing.

Coolio played the robotic patron saint of the celebration of African-American culture in the show's far-future world. It was, like many of the projects Coolio took on over the years, a role that blended his well-known sense of humor with his musical talents. I don't know what it means but I know it when they say it.

According to Cohen, Coolio returned to the studio a few weeks ago to record more dialogue and a new song for the revival of the show, which was originally announced as a Hulu project earlier this year. Cohen said that Coolio was one of his favorite guests. He had a great time coming in to record as his character.

The cause of Coolio's death was reported to be a heart attack. He will appear on one of the new episodes of the show that will be aired on the streaming service.
