According to sources, the Houston Rockets are getting Favors and a second-round draft pick in a trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Thunder will acquire two draft exceptions and save $1 million in salary as part of a deal that will send Favors and other players to the Houston Rockets.

Sources say that the Atlanta Hawks will be getting a second-round pick from the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The luxury tax threshold is $10 million. The Oklahoma City and Houston teams have 18 guaranteed contracts and will need to cut them down to 15 by October 17th.

Harkless was absorbed into a disabled player exception when he was traded to Atlanta. Both Maledon and Nwaba are under contract for the upcoming season.
