Michael Flynn, Donald Trump's former national security adviser, warned that governors may soon declare war.

He said that most of the federal agencies should be abolished.

The far-right Extremist gave a speech at a campaign event for Mark Finchem, who is running for Arizona Secretary of State.

Flynn demanded that federal agencies be locked up.

He said that states' rights. Do you know that a governor can make a declaration of war? The governor can make a declaration. Flynn warned that we would likely see that.

It wasn't clear what situations would convince governors to "declare war" in Flynn's scenario. Governors launched a civil war when they tried that before.

Congress has the power to raise and support armies according to Clause 11 of the Constitution. In order for the U.S. to wage war, Congress has to pass a resolution in both chambers, then present it to the president, who will then direct the military as "commander in chief of the Army and Navy of the United States."

Within weeks of being named national security adviser, Flynn left the administration because of his lying about his ties to Russia.

He pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his ties to Russia. He was given a pardon by Trump in 2020.

Flynn was appointed by the Republican Party in Florida as a "poll watcher" for the upcoming election. The leader of the local Proud Boys militia is going to be with him. Last week, Flynn said he heard salad dressings were made with vaccine.

Critics are angry that Trump pardoned Flynn and that he continues to collect a military pension.
