The concept of the ride remains to be seen since it has had three different versions. The original 1983 ride centered on a kindly Dreamfinder's creation of Figment out of dreams and ideas he catches in the sky. The Sherman Brothers wrote a song called "one little spark" which is a theme song for figment.
Monty Python star Eric Idle is starring as a scientist who is more or less annoyed by Figment's constant hijacking of the ride to push the limits of imagination in a new version of Journey Into Imagination. The actor forgot he was the co-star of the ride, so it must not have been a great experience. The attraction is similar to Disney's After Hours, where Figment serves as an orchestrator of madness to make you question your sanity by putting your senses of sight, sound and smell through his wringer. If you are an adult, you will be happy to know that you can find a drink at World showcase. The dragon is just an agent of chaos, which is one of the reasons that Figment is so endearing. I hope that is still the case because it would be very important to the brand of the trio. It would be great if Eric Idle was cast as a version of the Dream finder.
