There is still more to be done by the Cleveland Cavaliers.

According to Joe Vardon of The Athletic, the Cavs are interested in trading for the Phoenix Suns forward as they look for a proven three-and-D big body.

The Suns agreed to let him skip training camp as they look for a trade for the veteran who can play either the 3 or the 4 spot.

According to John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports, the Suns didn't want to sign him to a contract extension so he asked for a trade. He will make $10.2 million in 2022-23, the last season of his three-year, $29.2 million contract.

According to reports, the Suns told Crowder he wouldn't start or be part of the closing lineup. In the first two years of his career in Phoenix, he started more than 100 games.

TheCavs have made a concerted all-in push to build a contender this off-season, acquiringDonovan Mitchell in a blockbuster trade with the Utah Jazz Cleveland is one of only two teams with three All-Stars on its opening night roster.

The Cavs aren't considered a championship contender with their current roster, but they are a strong bet to make the playoffs for the first time since 1997-98.
